Another Communication Design 1 project was to design a book cover for the essay, Los Angeles Notebook, by Joan Didion. The essay describes how the Santa Ana winds bring about chaos to the Los Angeles area. I chose to show this by having Downtown Los Angeles as a burning match. The imagery and text was all done in scratchboard.
