Tombstone photo shoot
This was definitely a first for me, having a photo shoot at a cemetery. But before you say I am a weirdo it wasn't my fault. I had initially planned to do the photo shoot of at Art Center until my friend Patrick Flanagan; an Art Center Photography major suggested doing the shoot at an actual cemetery. This turned out to be an excellent idea and worked perfectly for the message I was trying to send. At first, it was awkward actually being at a cemetery. You knew there were actual people six feet underneath you and you didn't want to be disrespectful. The purpose of the shoot wasn't to disrespect the dead, instead to create a dialogue about death among the living. I want people to not be afraid to talk about death and realize that it is actually a part of life.
